Mental Health Awareness Week!

It's mental health awareness week and I wanted to do an awareness post because I'm not ashamed of my mental illnesses and nobody else should ever feel ashamed either! There is so much stigma surrounding mental health and it shouldn't be like that! Mental health is just as important as physical health!
1 in 4 people suffer from mental health issues in the UK, I'm not ashamed to say I was 1 of them! There are so many different issues: Depression, Self Harm, Bipolar, eating disorders, OCD & BPD are only a few, They are serious disorders and aren't something people choose to have. Nobody should ever feel afraid to speak out and its SO important to help raise awareness and let people know you're always there for them.
I've been so lucky the past few years to have people in my life who are amazing and i know I can count on if I need them and I can honestly say I'm 1 Million times better than I was this time last year and I can only thank them for that! So a massive thank you goes to them!
Just know that things can get better! It may take months, it may take years but they can improve
